Sweet Potato Casserole

Made with canned sweet potatoes, this sweet potato casserole topped with crunchy pecans is easy to make and a lovely addition to your holiday meal. Total Time: PT55M

Ingredients:
1 (29-ounce) can cut sweet potatoes, drained
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons maple syrup
3 tablespoons softened butter
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 cup miniature marshmallows, optional


Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Butter a 11 x 7 baking dish.

Place potatoes, sugar, butter, salt, cinnamon and vanilla in a bowl and mash with a potato masher.

Top with pecans and marshmallows and bake for 20 minutes.
