New Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients:
1 (2-pound) package diced style frozen hash brown potatoes
1 pint sour cream
1 (10 1/2-ounce) can cream of chicken soup (or homemade)
1 stick butter, divided, melted
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup diced onions
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup crushed corn flakes


Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Put potatoes in a greased 9x13'' pan and drizzle half of the melted butter over them.

Combine sour cream, cream of chicken soup, cheddar cheese, salt, pepper and onion in a bowl. Mix well and spread on top of the potatoes.

Add remaining 4 tablespoons of melted butter to the crushed cornflakes and combine well. Sprinkle mixture over potatoes.

Bake uncovered at 350 F for 40-50 minutes.
