Tuna Bumsteads

From Grandma's recipe box! Make lunch time extra special with this old fashioned tuna melt recipe in tinfoil. Bake them in the oven, or broil them open faced for a quicker way. Comfort food lunch! Author: Bonnie Wright Total Time: PT30M

Ingredients:
1 (7-ounce) can tuna, drained and rinsed
3 hard boiled eggs, cubed
1/4 cup cubed American cheese
2 tablespoons diced onions
2 tablespoons diced green bell peppers
2 tablespoons diced sweet pickles
2 tablespoons chopped pimento stuffed olives
1/2 cup miracle whip
salt and pepper to taste
8 buns


Directions:
Step 1: Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.

Step 2: Spoon 2 heaping tablespoons filling into a bun. You can use hot dog buns, small Italian buns, or dinner buns.

Step 3: Wrap up each sandwich individually in a piece of tin foil. Heat for 30 minutes at 250ᵒF.
