Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix pie filling and almond extract together in a bowl, and spread into a greased 11×7-in. baking dish.
Stir together blueberries and brown sugar and sprinkle over the pie filling. Next comes the cake mix: Sprinkle it evenly over the fruit and drizzle with butter.
Bake until golden brown, about 30-35 minutes. Cool the cake on a wire rack. If desired, serve with whipped cream and additional fresh blueberries.
