Prepare chocolate cake mix according to the package instructions.
After baking, let cool for at least 10 minutes.
Using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke holes in the top of prepared cake.
Pour sweetened condensed over cake and spread evenly over holes.
Refrigerate cake for at least 1 hour.
Use chocolate frosting to frost cake and top with chopped pecans and chocolate chips.
Drizzle with caramel, slice, and serve!
