Remove the ice cream from the freezer to soften. You don’t want the ice cream to melt, just for it to be easily spreadable. This takes about 20 minutes at room temperature.
For the crust:
Crush Oreos into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter.
Press mixture into 9x13" pan.
Freeze firm (15-30 minutes)
For the ice cream layer:
Allow ice cream to soften slightly.
Spread ice cream over Oreo crust.
Freeze firm 30-60 minutes.
For the topping:
Combine chocolate chips, milk and sugar over low heat until smooth.
Beat melted mixture at high speed for 2-5 minutes.
Allow mixture to cool slightly.
Pour chocolate mixture evenly over ice cream.
Sprinkle nuts evenly on top.
