Bread Pudding with Rum Dum Sauce

Ingredients:
BREAD PUDDING:
4-1/2 cups scalded
milk
5 cups cubed
bread
4 beaten
eggs
1/3 cup
Stevia or coconut palm sugar
2 teaspoons
vanilla extract
1-1/2 teaspoons
cinnamon
1/2 cup
raisins
RUM DUM SAUCE:
1/3 cup
honey
1-1/2 cups
heavy cream or half & half
1/2 cup
butter
2 tablespoons
cornstarch
1 teaspoon
vanilla extract
Directions:
Pour milk over bread in a 7 x 11 inch baking pan. Let set until milk has soaked into the bread, about 10-30 minutes.
In a medium bowl, beat eggs. Stir in sugar, vanilla and cinnamon. Fold in raisins.
Place baking dish in larger pan with a little cold water. Bake at 350 degrees for 1-1/2 hours.
SAUCE:
Combine honey, cream, butter and cornstarch. Simmer in a double boiler until thickened, stirring occasionally. Stir in vanilla.
Sauce will be thinner if half & half is used.
Pour sauce over each serving and top with whipped cream.
