Ingredients:
1 cup
wild rice
8 ounces sliced
mushrooms
1/2 cup hulled
sunflower seeds
3 tablespoons minced
shallots
1
bay leaf
1 teaspoon
Worcestershire sauce
3 cups
chicken broth
1/4 cup
butter
Directions:
Combine wild rice, mushrooms, sunflower seeds, shallots, bay leaf and Worcestershire sauce in 2 quart casserole. Add broth, dot with butter, cover and bake in 325°F oven until rice is tender and liquid in absorbed (about 1 1/2 hours). Makes 6 servings.
